Get out and explore Montana with Parks and Recreation's new Friday Adventure Series.

 

These guided day trips are designed for adults looking to enjoy local destinations, light adventure, and social connection at the end of the week.

Transportation and staff support are provided, making it easy to enjoy a fun, low-stress outing.
Trips are suitable for adults with a moderate activity level and an interest in outdoor adventure.

 

July 10 activity: Ride the chairlift to the top of the Montana Snowbowl. Hike Bear Grass Highway Trail down, pick huckleberries along the way, and enjoy a pizza lunch at the Last Run Inn. >1 hour of driving round trip. 

 

Transportation is provided for for all outings. You will need to bring enough water, snacks, and lunch* for
the day as well as clothing and gear appropriate for the weather.
